Question clicking pedal

I have a 2008 Civic that I bought not even a year ago. Everytime I press the clutch pedal in it makes this horrific annoying clicking noise. The dealership lubricated the spring, nothing. They replaced the pedal, nothing. So today I had it in for the third time and they tell me "It is normal, it is a spring and it is going to make that noise. It is something you will have to live with?"

Now, I may be a woman but I know that this is by far not right. Any suggestions on what to do!?

Thanks

welcome to the forum, document the times you have taken the car in to the dealership and the answers they give to you, ( not what you think they said ) also try another dealer near by if you have one. Call American Honda and ask for customer service and report the documentation you did. the number of times at the dealer(s) and what has been done and what their answers are. Dealers like to tell non-mechanical owners that is normal and you have to live with it because they cannot find out what it is or are lazy. I have been informed by American Honda that unsual noise of any new Honda needs to be fixed and need to give the dealer a reasonable time to fix it. American Honda has a toll free nbr in your state-- location
