crankshaft pulley removal. left hand thread?

Default crankshaft pulley removal. left hand thread?
I'm trying to change my timing belt but can't get the crank pulley nut off. My son bent a one-half inch drive breaker bar trying to turn it. Is it possibly left hand thread? How we get this thing off?
