Default crx help

i just got a 91 crx hf, the only issue is, it is an automatic. i want to drop a k20 into it, and in order to make it a manual, would i need to replace the gearbox, or the entire tranny?? any help would be nice.

welcome to the forum. to put a k-20 in your crx, it is best to get the engine and tranny togeather, the ecu, the struts and springs for the weight. There is an outfit in Arizona that does Fit k-20 mods found in Import Tunner. If you go to the web site and type in Fit k-20 mods, you may be able to find it. Also if you get Honda by Kojima, there is good info in it for all types of mods. Make sure you've got some $$$ to spend.

thanks, yeah i have the $$$ to spend. lol ive been saving for a while. and should i get a chipped ecu with a vtec controller, or wait on in, because im lookin to get a turbo.

when you get your k-20 with v-tec, besure to get the ecu for that engine, then you can add turbo or supercharger. The Fit with the K20 had the ecu piggy backed with the stock, and had a supercharger, I thought to read, it produced 300 hp.
