Front Upper Ball Joints
 

I have an '89 Civic DX Hatch. Are the ball joints in the front upper control arm replaceable or do I have to buy the control arm with the ball joint in it?I ordered this from Rockauto:

I have a 12ton shop press so pressing it out is not a problem. It just doesn't LOOK like it presses out. And the new one doesn't look like it presses in. Help.

Some have a separate upper ball joint and control arm and some have an upper ball joint as part of the upper control are so both have to be replaced. If there are two nuts on the upper ball joint, then it is replaceable by itself.
The lower control arm and ball joint are two separate parts and can be replaced individually.Good luck,Bobby :D
