i was driving home from a friends house and on the gauge cluster the area where it shows how many miles i've gone in the trip and how many miles are on the engine has stopped working. everything else works fine. help is always appreciated!

i had a 93 civic ex and it did the same thing...did u put bigger wheels on it?

 

my car is a 2000 civic si and i haven't put any new wheels on it just randomly stopped working as it was rolling over to 111000 miles about 3-4 weeks ago.
