GSR Civic clutch problems!

I have a 2000 civic ex with a jdm b18c and custom b16 5-speed transmission from Synchrotech. The clutch seemed to be going out since it was slipping when accelerating, as if in neutral. I paid a shop to replace the clutch. 170 miles later I cant get it into gear when the pedal is fully depressed. I have to let the pedal rise from the floor a few inches before it will let me put it in gear. The transmission is making noise when the pedal is fully depressed, even it Im not trying to put it into gear. The shop says that it is probably my slave cylinder, maybe master. I think they might have messed something up when istalling my clutch. I hope it is a master or slave cylinder, rather than synchronizers. Any advice would be greatly apreciated.

Welcome to the forum,It sounds like to me the clutch needs adjusting.

When you release your clutch pedal it starts the transmission parts moving so when it won't go into gear it is because parts aren't moving. This might change when things get broke in. The noise you hear won't be because of slave cylinder or master cylinder but probably from the throw out bearing or the pilot bearing if your car has. You might also check to see what oil your trans has in it, if it is too thick it could cause this problem. Also if it has a hydraulic clutch system, slave and master cylinder there are no adjustments.
