help needed with removal of my control arm

I have a 98 honda civic and i am having the hardest time removing my control arm. The bolts on here are seized up bad and wont budge at all and some of my bolts broke off and stripped. So does anyone have any suggestions on how i can remove them or how did you remove yours if you had a similar problem

RE: help needed with removal of my control arm

Hello there, I've asked a friend who had similar problem with his Honda control arm, hope this one will help you... 1. Check alignment and document the readings. Calculate the amount of camber change needed before proceeding.
2. Raise vehicle by the pinch weld, support with jack stands and remove the tire and wheel assembly.
3. Remove the cotter pin and nut from the upper ball joint. Break the taper between the upper ball joint and spindle and remove the ball joint stud from the spindle.
4. Remove the bolts holding the upper control arm to the body. Remove the upper control arm.
5. Make note of the indexing marks on the base of the ball joint and the control arm. Remove the snap ring (if present) holding the upper ball joint in place then remove the upper ball joint from the control arm.

Good luck and all the best!;)
