Just bought the car NEED HELP!
 

Just bought a 2001 Honda civic 2 door my problem is my doors will not lock or unlock when i press the button of the fob and wont work when i press the button for up and down inside the car. What do you guys think it could be? Also i installed an aftermarket Sony head unit it was working for a while then just shut off it wont do anything. I checked the stock wiring harness plus for power and its not getting anything also checked the fuse under the dash and in the back of the radio even plugged in the stock one and got nothing. Anything else i should look into? i have it straight wired into the cigarette lighter for now so it does work.

These cars and other Hondas are noted for the DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR going bad. They will give you a loud buzzing type noise but will not lock or unlock the door. Chance are that this is what you are experiencing.:D
