Keep breaking Power Steering Pump
 
Got 2009 Civic all pulleys are free but we keep breaking powe steering pump bolts off any ideas

welcome to the forum. when you replace the bolts, are you using honda bolts, also are you using the honda's torque limits. are your engine mounts in good condition. do you have a vibration of any kind in the engine out of the normal. did not notice any recalls for this in NHTSA.

mounts for engine are all ok yes we did use Honda bolts not suture on torque. Runs great doesn’t seem vibration in engine HMM Thanks for trying to help

Did you figure out the problem? I am having the same problem. I replaced the bolts but they broke again 3 weeks later.

Are these mounting bolts for the power steering or is it the center pulley bolt of the power steering pump?
What grade is the bolt being used? Grade 5? Grade 8?
