mini-me swap!!!
 

ok i have a 84 civic 1.5 and i dont know the engine code. i have looked many places but cant find... want im looking to do is a mini swap i have heard alot about this and i think it is the smarter, cheaper thing to do. i think the D16Y8 may fit the block of my engine but im not sure. is this head compatable with my engine block? and if not what head would be compatable? thanks for your time!!!

ok the only difference in a 1.5 and a 1.6 is the pistons are slotted for more valves and the head is different now you didnt ask that! but consider this if the other head you are looking at putting on has 16 valves just like the 1.6 than you will have to change your pistons :cool:
