Default My current project. I figured some of you might enjyoy

Alright so about a year ago I snatched this car up (for a little more than I should have but for some reason I fell in love at first sight)

Day one of me getting it home. It had a nice interior but needed some love... bad The first thing that needed to go was the purple engine bay and green headlights.. Or so I thought. I got this thing home and realized on the way that it was smoking. Not bad but smoke is no bueno in my book.

So I ripped the motor apart. Its a D15B so finding parts for it was a little bit of a pain in the ***. But after pulling the motor apart and sizing all of the internals myself I was able to piece together parts from various motors to rebuild the motor. Sadly I lost pictures of the motor rebuild.

Next up was some body work This thing had some rust that needed to be treaded The quarter panel still needs to be cut out and replaced. I'm saving that for last. First thing is first. There is rust on the hood and a lot of it. so there has to be rust everywhere. One panel at a time I started to remove the rust and primer the car. My shed is small with a TINY air compressor. So until I can rent a booth at my old college (want to do the whole car in one shot to save on rental fees) I used rattle can paint. not the best but it will do for now.

After the hood I did both fenders. No pictures of the during because its the same thing as the hood.

Next up electrical. The fog lights don't work and those tacky headlights had to go. So fog lights fixed https://i.imgur.com/EzDeZAW.jpg headlights parts are yet to be installed I'm still waiting on one key piece (its taking forever to be made)

Now the suspension. The car was WOBBLY as hell..... found the problem

Time to replace those. Might as well do the coilovers while I can. Listen up boys and girls. This is why you don't use ebay parts https://i.imgur.com/dMziZbL.jpg. Much better https://i.imgur.com/jKdFmqc.jpg

The coilovers didn't come in the mail in time and are still sitting in my basement. Never got around to replacing those. The reason why is coming up soon.

The camber kit was replaced but I still had the wobbles a little. Oh..... 2 bent rims you say? Fine there goes my car budget for the months. https://i.imgur.com/x2HcVBH.jpg But that yellow stripe. That needs to go away.. Soon.

So Because of this https://i.imgur.com/1LY4Z1D.jpg I am at a standstill with my car. Once it warms up and the weather is nice I will be finishing this thing.

Anyways thanks for reading.

I actually FINALLY got the final piece I needed over the weekend and got the stock headlights back in on Saturday. There was a HUGE difference in visibility.
