Default Mystery After Storm Flooding

Hello folks.
I have a 2007 Civic LX and it got flooded. I cannot tell you how much water got into the car. The driver side front was obviously wet an the driver rear seat floor had a considerable amount in it. After vacuuming most of the water out I decided to run the AC to help with the drying process. The car started right up and ran for about two hours and I shut it down. The following day I started the car but the starter/battery seemed sluggish but it did start. I continued to use the AC for the drying process and let the car run for a couple of hours. The following day I tried the process again but the starter solenoid just went "click, click, click", etc. Obviously a sign of a weak/dead battery. I put the battery on charge and monitored it for a day and one half and the battery stayed at a ~12.7 volt charge without the charger attached. I then tried to start it. When I turned the ignition to the "on" position the dash lit up as normal but when engaging the starter all the dash lights went out. Immediately after that I turned it off and then back to the on position. No dash lights. No anything. I then turned it off and let it set for a while. After returning a bit later, I turned it to the "on" position and everything was fine until I tried to start the car. Same issue. Everything went dark. After several attempts at this it was just "lather, rinse, repeat". The battery is holding a charge but there seems to be something going on now when I try to start it. It worked for two days before that so, WTH?

Please advise
