welcome to the forum. only things left to do on the car might be change over to an aluminum crank pulley, electronic steering vs fluid drive , lighten up the car, seats, windows, spare removed.

i have a 91 hatchback si. i have an aem cold air intake full dc exhaust lightened it up a little replaced the distributor cap rotor button wires and plugs i also upped the injectors a little bit and put in an adjustable fuel pressure regulator removed the air conditioner and power steering i have the car strutted out all around with megan components with a set of 15" lightweight rims with eibach adjustable coilovers. the struts and suspension didnt do much for speed but as for the wires plugs injectors and fuel pressure regulator wow. it makes a load of difference and ive been pushing 55 psi on the fuel pressure with 400cc injectors for about 5000 miles and it still runs great so you should have no worries about blowing it up just dont romp on it allll the time.

I'M new on here but I have a 92 Honda hatch, it's just a 1.6 vtec swap but I can tell u an si intake manifold, throtle body, and injectors would up ur horse power majorly. One of my first upgrades I did to my 1.5 when I had it, also, any 1.6 vtec/nonvtec head would make a major difference and it's not a major swap, just make sure head is shaved first or Ull blow head gaskets every 3000 miles, other than that, intake, exaust, and such is all u can do really that I can think of. 5 speed swap would help as well but u said u wanted to keep it stock, btw, si and ex tranny r pretty much the same. Great short gears that will hold u in ur seat.
