Possible 97 Civic

I am in the process of debating on trading my 2000 impala for a 97 Civic.

The Civic has 220k miles on it, but runs fantastically well, not knocks or hesitation. The underbody has minimal rust, a lot less than I have seen on cars with half that mileage.

The clutch seems tight and responsive, as well as placing shifter into gear. The car was fitted with a CAI and a full exhaust from header to tip.

My question is, will this car be worth it to last many more miles? What type of thing should I look out for? Checking the car put it needs new upper and lower ball joints, as well as inner (and probably outer) tie rod ends. Nothing else me mechanically or structurally seems to be and issue.

Any help/feedback is greatly appreciated.

welcome in,when was the last time the timing belt and water pump was changed?Does the oil look clean any leakage?

I have no records of the timing belt or water pump being replaced. Oil looks clean and this thing doesnt leak a drop from what I can see, real clean for the miles.

The know issues are:
-Upper and Lower ball joints.
-Tie rods (Inners are bad but will replace outers while I'm there)
-Low idle after car warms up, to the point of wanting to die (Idle adjustment or TB cleaning?)

Idle adjustment when warm should take care of the idle problem.also use throttle body cleaner on the IAC.
