i have a 1984 honda civic 1.5 and im considering swapping the engine. is anyone interested in swapping engines? i would like to get a 1.6 or just a newer better engine so if anyne is interested please let me know thanks

 

also i heard about a "mini swap" where u take the head from another motor like a 1.6 i think and switch it out. is it possible to get vtec on this car? if so is anyone interested in swapping heads or watever it takes? please let me no thanks

 

A lot of the swaps that involve 3rd gens have been done it requires some work but it is possible. Do a little research I believe there is a group that is all about the 3rd generation civic and 1st generation CRX. They talk about the overlooked potential of these cars. You may want to find the CRX resource just because there is a little more of following for this. And since they are essentially the same under the hood it should help you out.
