Default Radio Code

This shows after pushing 1 and 6 and power.
Hi I had my ‘06 Civic’s battery replaced. Now the radio is locked.

I heard that you push (1) & (6) and power button to reveal the code, and I did that and have the number.

My question is-how do I enter the number 9 or number zero?

The radio only has (1-6).

Thanks

Default I think I found the answer

That code I give to the dealership and then they give me a real code.

This has to be the strangest anti theft process. I can’t imagine anyone thefting a Civic radio. Just odd.

My 01 Civic has an aftermarket radio in it and the kid threw the original away.
Grandma wants the simpler to use original radio.
If I find an original, what do I have to do to get that one to work?
