I have a 91 civic dx hatch, and I also just aquired an 88 civic wagon with the 4wd. I was originally going to fix the wagon and sell it but I had this crazy idea to make my hatch awd. Has anyone ever heard of converting the hatch into a awd? I also aquired a Vtec head off of a 5th gen civic EX with plans to do the mini me swap. I would really like it to be mini me vtec with awd.

That would be awesome I allways wanted to do an AWD civic. but it is very hard I have heard impossible. You need lots of equipment. For major modification to the body. Relocate the gas tank. Weld in mounts cut the trunk. Its alot of work. But I will do one day. If I had everything you got I would. I got the axcess to the plasma cutter and everthing I need.

 

Sounds like an even bigger project than I had first thought. Maybe I'll just fix the AWD 88 civic and sell it use the money to do the mini-me swap on my hatch and use the rest of the money to start getting turbo into my Saturn SL2.
