hi i own a 92 honda civic and a 94 ford probe. i was looking at the shift linkage for both they kinda looked the same does anyone know the dimensions of the shift linkage 4 the civici have an extra one for the probe but has to wait till i return home in two weeks im currently on the road due to work. i purchased the civic for a hondred the transmission was shot and the engine blew so im rebuilding it for my fiance. thnx for any help yall are able to do.

I have heard of people using the the short throw shifters from civics on probes but the linkage is probably a different story. You are probably going to have to source that from a salvage yard.

i have a 98 civic ex auto..and im doina manual swap..i wanted to know if i actually need a 96-98 civic shift linkage...or i can use it from a 92-95 or sumtin..are they all the same

welcome to the forums.. kaostunerz no im sorry but they are not exactly the same.. unfortunately with shift linkages they have to be exact..


And to Narablek73 if you have a D series motor and your going to put a D series transmission on it it will work..
