Default Sticky Steering '23 Civic

Hello,

I recently purchased a brand new 2023 Civic Touring. Within a couple weeks the steering felt a little sticky where it takes a little more force than what feels right to start steering from center. I took it back to the dealer and they said that is "normal" for electric power steering... is this accurate? Thanks.

You don't trust your dealer? Like anything new it takes time to get used to. Have you owned an EPS vehicle before?

don’t trust that dealer.

i have a same problem, actually not only we, i googled this problem and watched YouTube as well, it’s common problem who own 22-24 civic’s.
gearbox should be replaced, because gearbox subject to recall. Over 200k civics subject to recall, and that’s why I have a bad news, in stock they doesn’t have this part and that’s why need a long time wait this part.
