I have a 1997 honda civic ex, d16y8, I have suspicions that the engine will die soon. I wanna swap to the jdm d15b dual v- tec 3 stage v-tec. Both are obd2. I have found the motor and correct ecu for it. My civic is automatic by the way. So far all of my research has said that it should be a straight drop-in swap. A lot of sites/forums talk about the obd1 d15b and say you need a harness jumper but I can't find much on the obd2 d15b. So I'm looking for any advise on the swap to help me out. Any and all advice is appreciated. Thank you.
