Tire question
Sorry, I know there's a tire board, but it seems dead compared to this one.
I currently have to replace a pair of my tires as they are worn pretty bare. I have another pair with around 10k miles on it. The pair I'll be keeping are some Traction T/As that are rated at 88H. I'm not able to find another pair of 88Hs, but I have found the Traction T/As rated at 87T. Alternatively, I could go with 88Hs from an entirely different manufacturer/model of tire. Is it better to keep the rating the same, or the tread/style the same? |
welcome to the forum. Main thing about tires, to replace with like when possible, if not to replace with equal. size and rating. this is so the speed o meter reads correct, and the tires are all spinning the same. and keep the best tires on the back ( new item for some of us ) something to do with if you have older tires in the front, and they go flat you can control with the steering.
