ok heres the deal, i just bought 3 honda crx's, all 3 are 1985 and are the older style, i want to convert it to the newer style headlights and hood and everything which does not seem to be a big problem, but what im wondering is if anyone knows if the struts are different i see online lowering spings for the 88-90 versions but would they work on my version as well, any input on this or anything that may be helpful in this conversion that im doing please let me know thanks [align=right][/align]

 

well i could be wrong but i don't think you can. i use to have an 87 crx si and i recall hours of searching for aftermarket parts for it, and only a few companies had a few things, and i don't think they had anything for lowering springs. but that was a few years ago and companies may have made parts for it. i finally just decided to get an 88-91 crx. but anyways, just do a lot of searching and check out yahoo answers. post the question on there and some one will probably help you out. of course, you could always make things fit by custom modding out the crx. and on the idea of the headlights, the 88-89 headlights are different than the 90-91 headlights. just thought i'd inform you on that just incase you didn't know. wish the best of luck to you.
