2007 Accord V6 Shut Down, Re-started with Oil light on
 

Went directly to Pep Boys. They can’t figure out what’s wrong. Oil not entering filter but engine still runs fine. Afraid to drive it. Any ideas?

Do not drive it until you determine why the oil light is on is my suggestion. What is the oil level?

welcome to the forum, check to see if the oil sending unit has failed, or the sending unit wire is in tact.

I drive directly to Pep Boys. They couldn’t figure it out & sent me to the dreaded dealer. At first they said they didn’t know now claim I need a new engine. Drive car on & off tow truck, no problem, no noise, smoke etc. when I towed it from dealer it refused to start. Now I’m told the timing belt is broken & definitely need a new engine. HELP!

what is the oil level on your dip stick. is it making any kind of unusual noise. what happens when you try to start the engine. what do you mean when you say oil is not entering filter, how was this determined.. in order to help, we need more information please.
