Hi,
I have a 2014 Honda Odyssey EX-L and my 2 side brake lights are not functioning, but the 3rd top mount light is working. Based on all the other testing I've done (bulbs are new and correct, brake switch is functioning, all relevant fuses are functioning) and using the attached wiring diagram, I've deduced the problem down to the brake light failure sensor. Honda parts department can't find a part for this, so we are not sure if it's now embedded into the Multiplex Unit (MICU) or if I can buy it separately. I have not yet ripped out the interior trim paneling because I have been trying to figure out if I can get the part before doing this. Can anyone help me find the part or let me know if it's embedded in the MICU? Or if there are other ideas for why my brake lights are not working, please throw out any ideas you have. Things that work: my horn, cruise control, tail lights, blinkers, hazards, car can shift out of park and is still drivable.... all of this leads me to think it's the brake light sensor. Thanks for any advice or direction provided.
