2023 Accord Sport Hybrid, Fuel Gauge??
 

Hello Honda Fans. Re: the fuel gauge, the owners manual does not get specific, but I am assuming, which we all know what that means, LOL, but I am thinking that each one of those dashes probably equates to around ONE GAL. per dash. Am I correct or close, what say you???

Tank capacity? How many dashes? Pretty simple ratio. Why?

Well going to take awhile to find out. Tank capacity I can get from the owners manual, but the number of dashes will only be gotten the next time I totally fill up, which will only occur on our next trip out of town, beach bumming again, or enjoying our central coast again, maybe soon. Otherwise we just put in $20 or so here & there, especially with the price of gas here in Calif. :-)

Why do you care about it. No way it's going to be very accurate anyway.

I realize that fuel gauges are not that accurate, but the electronics, systems in this cars design are so awesome, that this may be the first gauge that is :-).

My Wife and I took a trip to Santa Cruz, Ca. several weeks ago. Got there after filling to the rim, and did not drop a HAIR. Now we are still running on this same fill up, such an awesome vehicle,
