I am new to the forum
I have a 94 accord ex that failed smog
it has 281000 miles
did the head gasket about 12000 miles ago
new plugs, wires,oil and filter and cleaned the k&n filter
there was an exhaust leak any the manifold to down pipe before the o2 sensor
that has been fixed
could that be a problem
my question is what area should I look at for the problem
any advice would be helpful

Just do not know what to say.
You passed everything except for the Hydrocarbons and Nitrous oxide emissions at 15 mph.
Sounds like it could be running rich and hot. Higher rev and the system seems to even out and pass.
The PCV could be clogged?? Idle air control valve needs cleaning???
I just do not know. Hopefully someone else can help.

 

items to check, improper ignition timing, lean fuel mixture, defective cat, ignition coil, dist cap, rotor, defective aire injection, low cylinder compression, defective egr.
