Fail Inspection because of Struts

Purchase a 2007 Honda coupe and had to get a MD state inspection. It fail because of the vehicle was to low because of struts, not because they were bad, because they where the wrong struts. My question is, is there anything can be done with the struts on the vehicle?

by wrong strut im assuming you mean there after market performance ???. are they adjustable at all do they have threading if not then your only option it to buy stock suspension or an adjustable after market suspension. how low is the car to warrant a failure post pics of ride height and suspension. also it could be that you have lowering springs on the stock suspension in that case you would just need stock springs but unless you post pics we can't tell you.

You are correct, I believe someone lower the coil spring assembly because I am told I need to fix with repairing the "Strut Assembly/suspension Strut and Coil Spring Assembly for Left, Right and Rear".

well if there stock shocks and struts then you just need stock springs to raise it up. after market springs usually only lower the car less then 2 inches and are DOT compliant so im not sure why that would warrant a failed inspection unless you live in some kind of nazi state or australia.
