Honda s2000 vs civic si?

Hey guys, so right now I have just a normal plain honda civic, it's paid for and I don't wish to trade it in. And I want a second car, and I want to hear some more knowledgable opinions than my own, I want a manual transmission sports car. My driving habits are usually just cruising around by myself. I just get bored and go driving around. I will be in a big city with traffic sometimes and I will want to cross state lines in my new car. I want to hear your suggestions. I'm looking at either a s2000 or a civic si, however all suggestions are welcome. I want to hear some different opinions.

the s2000 interior is very cramped and probably wouldn't be an ideal daily driver especially if on the tall side. i would suggests sitting in one first. also no hard top unless bought after market they look way better with a hard top. what year si are you talking about ???

Probably an 09 on the si, and low mileage 01 or 02 for the s2000

You may be on to something there. Plus the si is more practical and costs less. Would you even be able to find parts to fix the s2000 if it died ten years from now?

its a honda it wouldn't die if taken proper care of but yes the s2000 has massive after market part sources also oem just like most honda's.

From experience I stay with OE parts to avoid problem, the price is not that different and the warranty is usually better.

thats not necessarily true it depends what parts your talking about. alot of honda parts are made by other companies not by honda they just slap on a honda logo and charge twice as much also there are alot of after market parts that are far better quality then oem.
