Need Help 2007 CBR600RR

Hey guys
I need some help my CBR 600 is overheating, and I am not to clued up on the bikes only have it for like a week, is it like a car where do you check the water for the radiator or could it be oil? hope some one can help me out.

i have ever seen on under of seat. also check the radiator water pump.
