Default Need Help Ideas

Looking for advice for a recent issue. These are the cliff notes:

I recently took my 2023 Honda Pilot into a dealer for warranty work. The next day I received the car covered in overspray (Dealership is remodeling). Dealership took responsibility and said they would make it right.

They took car for two days to detail and these first three photos are what I got back after saying it was good to go. These photos are AFTER detail number 1.

I immediately took car to professional detailer and after looking at it they said the paint was damaged plus all the plastics would need replacement. (I don't want to repaint)

Dealership offered a new car but I would eat 24K, double my payment, and reset payment clock ( I said no). A repaint quote came in at 35K which seems nuts.

Dealership had their good detailer look and he said he could have it better than new in 2 hours. Four days later I was called and told it looked good and to come see it. The rest of the photos are what I have now AFTER detail number 2. There are more photos and the whole car has issues like this.

At this point I believe the paint is damaged and I do not want the car any longer. I am seeing chips of paint all over the car and I think this will get worse. My initial thought was I eat the 10k in value between the private party value my car was worth before this and a new one today. They eat the rest, taxes, fees, and whatever loss from this one.

As of now they want me to work with the painting companies insurance and I do not think that's my job. I dropped my car off at Honda and they returned this. Up to them to recover anything from their contractor. I am going on week four of this and still in the same spot I was four weeks ago.

What is fair, right, and where should I go from here? I am getting to the end of my rope on this. This is not the car I dropped off and I do not want it any longer. I think the paint is never going to last at this point.

Thanks

I would have a body shop do an estimate of the problem and the repair. Take that to the dealer.
