Question no start please help!!

Okay I have an automatic 1996 accord with the 16 valve that has had a overhaul and has been beefed up a bit about 30,000 miles ago. I've had the car for a few months now and most of that time has had me about to rip my hair out. When I bought the car it ran great but the previous owner (a friend of mine) had some issues with it not starting or even stalling sometimes. The car ran like a champ with no starting or no stalling issues for a out 200 miles after I got it. I was heading home from work one night and it stalled out of the blue and would not start. After cranking and cranking feeding it some ether it started then I shut it off and it would not start again. Then I just started cranking it and eventually it started and I drove it around the block a few times and it idled for about 20 minutes just fine then I shut it off and now no start again. I get good spark, good compression, good fuel, and good air to the engine and it's also cranking just fine. I'm normally pretty handy with cars but this Honda is killing me. I need some serious suggestions all are welcome just please help!!

Welcome in,it could be the exhaust is clogged, pull the O2 sensor and see if it runs better.it also may be a timing issue.

It has a new exhaust on it and the timing was adjusted not to long ago. I pulled the coolant temp sensor and replaced it last night and it started right up but now it's back to square one with no start again. I'll try the O2. If you have any other ideas I'm more than willing to test them out. Thanks a lot

Check to see if timing belt has been placed on the right tooth, just one off can cause this problem.
