stock d15b? boost?

Smile stock d15b? boost?

ok im going to put a t3/t4 on a d15b...

it has 150k miles but i was only planing on running 5 psi without a front mount...

any suggestions or advice?

welcome to the forum, after a long run, besure to cool the turbo off a few minutes before shut down.

Question

yeah i know that im saying like..before i even turn the car on...like...i was thinking about not running a intercooler...just a bov in the middle...cuz im only runnin 5 psi and im not runnin it real hard. the only real bad thing is that the motor has 150k on it

as long as ur seals and everything are good u should be fine and as long as u dont run more then like 8-10 psi boost u arent gonna need a front if u ever decide to run more then that you will need to install a fmic or smic

yeah now im thinking im gonna run a fmic because i have one...and the piping...i was just lazy and didnt want to ...lol but the more i think about it the more safe i would be if i ran it...so yeahh lol

run a FMIC just to be safe the motor is a d15b so 5 pounds is safe but dont wind it out those motors arent very strong i have a D15A in my 91 civic and it had 162k on it when i ran 6psi it lasted about 7k miles before the motor finally gave out. so just keep constant upkeep on it and change the oil every 3k not 5k and dont floor it very much and you will be just fine.
