Upgrading Your Honda

Hi, guys my name is manny and I just recently joined this crew like just now. Anyways I was hoping you guys can help me out with some questions that I'm gonna post on here and please reply back. Now i have a honda civic si 2000 yes, very old car but I was hoping to change some few things on my car like I want to make my car faster and louder I was been told that changing your header and manifold is one of the best things you can do also have some other stuff which those upgrades are illegal in the state of PA sad right. Anyways if you guys can help me out what I can do that I can make my car fastereo, louder, and legal please let me know.

Thank you

Welcome in,well I'm not familiar with penn. state vehicle laws but,I don't think a cold air intake system would be illegal, and a computer download maybe.

Well I have a cold intake and that's not illegal but I wanna know if I change the headers and manifold people say I won't pass inspection

Well like I said I am not familiar with Penn state inspections,we don't have an inspection system here in Ga. But as long as you replace the ox sensors in the exhaust system I wouldn't think it would make any difference. I know when I went to headers on my Corvette that it began throwing codes, when I had the performance tune done it went away.so that my be a concern too.
