I have a 2004 BF 150 that will run all day at 4400 rpm. If I run over 4700 for more than 5-10 mins it sounds a continous alarm and motor shuts down. I turn the key off and it restarts immediately with no alarms sounding.
Water separator filter has been checked and has good water flow through telltale.
Any ideas.

 

Can anyone shed any light on this issue. Running out of ideas and sick of getting charged big dollars only to still have the same problem.
