I'm buy a BF10D and want to fit single lever remote. I have had a quote for all genuine Honda parts at nearly £800. Can anyone tell me if they know of a good quality alternative. The current remote on my boat was fitted to a 2006 bf6d, will this retro fit this engine.

 

I now understand that if the engine was supplied as a remote controlled engine then it should be that my original remote will fit. I think that a tiller supplied engine needs a higher level to convert. Does this sound right with anyone.
