Default BF225 Dipstick

I checked the oil today and after reading the dipstick i pushed it back in and the stopper on the dipstick slid all the way up to the ring. can anyone give me a meassurement as a reference point as to where the rubber stopper sits compared to the bottom of the dipstick. Thanks Everyone

Easy to see it on the stick. Look and inch or to down and you'll see where the stopper was attached to the stick.

@dolanp , buy the new one. I got the same issue and get new one at boats.net for less than 15 bucks.
