Hi All,

New to this site and looking for some advice.

Purchased a used 2009 150hp outboard, compression check < top cylinder down : 200, 150, 180, 205. I checked the valve clearances all the intake where good but the exhausts were tight, # 2 had less than .002" clearance. I took the head off and found the # 2 cylinder exhaust valves badly burnt. I order new stuff and cleaned the cams and head.

During reassembly i found an oil passage in the cylinder block (see pictures) with i very large piece of aluminum sticking straight out of the drilled hole. it needs to be removed, but Im not sure how? and Do you think i should contact Honda?

Thanks for your help!
