Or with a solution for how to repair skeg .

Not sure where you are, but here in Seattle a local prop shop can weld on a repair, and repaint it good as new. I will be doing this with my BF200. Prob a little cheaper than buying a new lower unit in my case. For the 40, it might be cheaper to replace the unit. Part numbers can be found on honda Parts website. It helps if you have the serial number handy.
