2009 honda no start metropalition gas to floatbowl but no fuel to cylinder

Hello all,
I have a 2009 metro chf-50. Ive recently replaced the carb and fuel pump. as far a I can denote the gas is flowing to the float bowl but no fuel is getting to the cylinder. Ive reset the data, i've got good gas, there is spark but no combustion. Now, when I pull the plug its always dry.
Any help would be greatly valved.
Thanks in advance
Justin

I am in the same situation with my 2009 Honda Metro
Have replaced the following,
All fuel lines, fuel pump, filter&check valve, Brand new Carb
New Coil and spark plug
Spark is wicked awesome,
All parts were bought from an authorized Honda dealer
This scooter has only ran - non ethanol 91 octane gas thru it
Gas is less than 2 weeks old
I also have fuel to the carb bowl
Any thoughts on what I can check?

you will probably have to take the carb off, flip it over, take off the bowl, then the float. run a wire (guitar string) through the small jets that are staring at you. then blow them out with carb cleaner. that is a minimum. please take pics as you go and be careful with the small parts. if that isn't enough the carb will have to come completely apart. you can try draining the carb and putting a bunch of seafoam in the gas but usually it only works the best when the bike is running, to clean it up and it will run better.

Tbuz - Tks for the quick response.

I purchased a brand new carb and its only 5 days old - directly from Honda
If have to mess with it and might not be able to return it - if it proves defective
Also earlier today I even tried to start it using starting fluid - Not even a smidge of a kick over

Any other thoughts?

how do you know there is fuel in the carb? if there is no fuel in it the petcock may not be working. as far a spraying starting fluid, my scooter did the same so i monkeyed with the key on and off and the kill switch on and off. you say you have spark, it should fire unless the switches are flaky. the only other thing i can think of if it's cold out a 4 stroke scooter may not want to start if it is too cold.

the bystarter on my elite is gummed up (i think) from the PO and that's why i have trouble when it's cold. get the manual and make sure you have the fuel lines right and the connectors hooked up so the bystarter works

Regading the new carb.
There is a - hymm for lack of the proper words - a screw on the side of the bowl.
When I open it fuel come out freely.
So that also tells me I have the fuel check valve going the right way.
As to the electrical side,
When I shut off the emergency kill switch on the handle bar and turn the motor over - no spark
When I turn on the emergency kill switch on the handle bar and turn the motor over - plenty of spark
Fuel Lines
I bought this scooter in 09 and the original owner
So I ordered the entire fuel system - all new hoses clamps and the three mail parts - fuel pump - fuel filter - check valve
Since it s single fuel line from the tank to the carb, I do not see where I could have screwed up regarding the fuel system
P/S - It was 70 degrees out today

The only other thing I will do tomorrow is replace the battery.
I have run it down to many times and need the battery charger

good so far. i have a no start on my elite at times depending on the temp. on my aero the carb had some fuel lines to and from the bystarter, i'm not really familiar with the type your scooter has. also the temperature may make a difference.

one thing you can try, if you spray starting fluid in and crank, try holding the throttle open while cranking
