End of season I notice a small amount of oil dripping down the back of my motor where the cowling meets the lower unit when trimming up. Took off the cowling and noticed oil up and down the back of the engine from the top down, thin layer of oil by each plug (not coming out of plugs, just leaking down past them). It appears to be coming from the very top of the engine. It pooled in a crevasse at the top on both sides of the engine. See pics, any ideas? It appears to be originating under the plastic cover at the top. pooling oil under the right bolt.
