Unhappy 1st Gen Ridgeline rear window not working

2008 Ridgeline is beginning to show it's age. I use the rear window a lot as it makes putting long objects into the cab easier. When I start the engine the dashboard light tells me that the rear window is open, pressing the button has no effect and the window is tightly closed already. The light turns itself off after a short period of time. The fuse is good and I haven't had any "burned electrics" smell in the cab. So obviously, I need to check the motor, but how do I find it? Thanks for your help. Cheers Sam

The silicon trick worked, had to leave the windows open overnight, but it stays in a garage so no problem. I'll use the silicon more often than once every18 years from now on.
