Question 1st time Honda owner

Purchased a 2013 Honda Crosstour; enjoying it, although having problems with the voice-activation navigation/phone. The system is not "hearing" my commands correctly and suggests "other names" than the ones I am trying to call. It is about 90% in error.

if no help then I would go to the dealership, the warranty should cover any problem.

Default Voice activation on Crosstour

Hello TempeHonda,
I appreciate your response to my thread on the trouble I am having with my activation system in my new Crosstour.
I viewed your demonstration on the Honda Pilot; the types of commands you demonstrated also work fine. The problem lies in commands for phone calls, find bank, etc. commands. I did a "dial by number" 8 times, and each time, instead of 985, it would give me 885 as the area code. I changed my contacts in my phone numerous times to narrow down the system's possible interpretations of what I am saying. Still having lots of trouble with the voice activation - becoming a safety hazard instead of a safety feature. Very disappointed b/c I love the car in every other way.. For the amount you pay for navigation, Honda's voice activation is subpar compared to other cars.
