I am curious tosee if anyone has been having any electrical issues with their Honda Elements.I have a 2005 Honda element with 175K miles have taken good care of it. Thiscar has been great for the past 10 years it is the last 2 weeks that I have hadto replace the alternator twice. It has completely stalled twice replacedalternator twice and battery. The car completely shuts down as you are drivingkind of scary. Does anyone have had this same problem. My Mechanic who I havebeen going to for 15 years is also stumped.

 

welcome to the forum. I have not had this problem, but some of the honda parts cannot be replaced with an after market part. many members had repaced minor part on a honda and found not to last or fail quick. also there may also be another problem associated with the alternator being changed.
