I am looking to buy a 2018 Accord Hybrid. It will be a replacement for a lemon 2016 Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid, which Hyundai is buying back soon. Hopefully, they do not buy it back before the Hybrid is released! This is/will be my wife's commuter car.

I am retired law enforcement. I bought a '04 VW Phaeton in 2011. Wonderful ride!

Thank you, acmech52. I now have a date to turn our Sonata back to Hyundai--Jan 17th. So, it will be a long and frustrating wait until Honda gets those Hybrids out to dealers.

if you want to get a good deal on the price, do some homework and get the dealers to give you a price you can work with and go to the next dealer and have them beat that price, or go on to the internet and find out which dealer is will to bid the lowest price for your business, be sure to have your financing ready, cash, credit, cashiers ck, etc. or you can go to the dealers fleet cars and see if they have a deal for you... good luck.

Thank you for your suggestion. I purchased my 2017 Volvo S90 with negotiations completely through the internet. Being that the 2018 Accord Hybrid will be just arriving onto dealer's lots, I do not anticipate saving a lot of money, regardless of deal I can get. I saved $10,000 off the MSRP for my $67,775 S90 (plus an additional $500 for being a Volvo Club of America/A-Plan Elite member.)

I also got our 2016 Hyundai Sonata PHEV going though Consumer Reports/Truecar process, which I was completely satisfied with.

Tim
