Default 2021 Civic Type R

Thank for having me on the forum everyone! Happy Sunday as my first thread i had an interesting take. This is just my own opinion about the 2021 Civic Type R. Would love to hear other peoples input as well, Besides the price tag, the thing is a beast. I have a feeling this might be like the Mugen Si from the 2000's that everyone coveted but didnt want to drop that kind of money lol. ,I hope they can drop the tag below 40k so we could all find justification for spending this much cash on a civic.

welcome to the forum. yes I agree with you on the cost of the Type R. it handles great, and is fast. i have a 07 Fit and was contemplating on sending the Fit to Mugen in Arizona where they were installing the 2.0 turbo. 300 hp for a cost of approx 5-7k but because of the Ca. smog laws i would have to have a special permit to pass for registration. Only way to get one cheaper would be watch for a retired senior who might have one and try to get it when they quit driving. or you can work for Honda Dealership any position and get one at employee's cost... a lot less.

Thats definitely a good idea for getting that price on the car. I remember the local Honda dealer in my area had there 07 Mugen Si stripped of expensive parts during a theft. They only had two models and both had most of there parts stolen lol. Honda needs to bring back the prelude

it is unfortunate that many models that Honda used to produce have been stopped. that Prelude i liked the last few years with those strange tail lights and big engine manual shift hard to find. the Honda Fit 2020 is the last year it will be in production. Honda's B series engines were great for performance. sales makes the difference if a car will continue to be produced or stopped.
