Default To Auction or not to Auction

Hey Folks i am in the process of purchasing a new vehicle, and was looking into something in my budget (2-4k) so as of today i have not found anything only junk.. well i was told by a friend of mines that he bought a vehicle in an online auction http://easyexport.us/?a_aid=4bfc2493cf522 so im wondering if anyone has some insights on online auctions.

on line auctions are ok, make sure you go see what you are buying , and know what you are buying, also use a carfax to ck the car if you are new at auction. Remember when you pay for the car and it falls apart on you driving out of the drive way, it is yours to keep. must see, know, what you are doing.

I totally agree with acmech52 that its required to check the car before the auction, because if the car doesn't work after you buy it.it will be yours only.I have never been at any auction but heard that its nice.
