I am new to this whole forum thing and hope I am doing this right!?! I need serious help purchasing a sound system. My husband purchased an 04 Civic Si and would love to put a system in it. He is in the military and just got a well deserved promotion and is actually gone for a couple weeks....what better time to do it? SURPRISE! Well I definitely don't want to mess this up. There was a system installed but removed before purchasing. They left these weird looking boxes in each door and what I believe are the tweeters(little round speakers). As for that I am at witts end. I have been online all day lookin for different boxes, amps, boxes w/speakers, and I am super confused. 2 channel or 4 channel? 2ohm or 4ohm? 350 watts or 1000 watts making sure the speakers are going to with stand the amp. JL Audio, Rockford Fosgate, Dual? It is alot for me considering I don't know much, the stores I feel try to rip you off and get you buy just about anything without explaining anything in Layman terms! Also I am not trying to spend thousands of dollars...to be honest 600 is my limit for now! I just want to put something in his car that sounds good and you can hear bass and the MUSIC...dont want bass over powering the music. I know this is a lot but any help any one could give would be much appreciated. Thank You sooooooooooooooo much!
