Just picked up a 99' Honda Civic DX a few months ago with 48k original miles and joined the forum. It's my second car after I sold my 84' Mercedes 190D with 104k miles. I'm really missing my Benz because even though the car was 15 years older, it had:

-softer seats
-power windows, doors, sunroof and antenna
-heat insulated glass
-a stronger airconditioning unit
-way less road noise
-4 doors for easier access and a large trunk with full size spare

So basically, buying my Hondawas a dissapointment to be honest - but initial appeal was high. I like that it's preppy and doesn't sound like my diesel, but then again I don't for other reasons, road noise is the main one. Right now it'll remain just as a daily driver while my other new car, an 86'190e 2.3-16v with 51kis the fun car :)
