Hey Guys n Gals
I have a 1991 CB7 Accord that my mom just gave me because there is a problem with her coolant system. Its a 5speed 210,xxx miles, it had a rough life. I know a little about cars but don't have a lot of tools i need to, to do a lot of the work i know how to. the shop she took it to did a "cool aid" test as he called it and said there was something in the coolant that wasn't supposed to be so he told her it was either a cracked block, head, or blown head gasket. she just got a new car n gave me this one since i didn't have one. I really like these body style honda's it reminds me a lot of my first car. 90 Prelude. I wanted to know if theres any easy ways to pin point what i need to fix to get this car running. or a place to get a decent replacement motor. I/d like to put a H22 in it but i cant afford $3k. i dont have a lot of tools so if anyone could point me in a good direction for cheaper tools (like basic socket set)

if it was a cracked block it would more than likely not run or there would be coolant leaking from the block.. does the car over heat if you let it idle for too long? does the heat work for longer than 5-10 minute spurts once its warmed up?
