Hi there

Hello everyone,

In 1997 I bought a 1990 Honda Accord LX 4 cylinder 4 door. I had so much trouble with it and sold it in 1999 and never looked at a Honda again until November of last year, 2020 when my Friends sister give him her 2003 Honda Accord EX V6 3.0 fully loaded after driving it 350,000 miles. I loved the car. If I did not see the odometer, I would have never thought the car has 350,000 on it. It was a smooth riding car with no problems until it overheated on him and seized the engine (Not the cars fault).
Two weeks ago he bought another car and was about to sell this one to a salvage yard for $500. Well, you guessed it. I gave him the $500 and brought it home.
I drive a 2005 Corvette C6 but my priority is not only to fix the Honda and get it on the road but also to make a super sleeper. I heard does not take much to make a 400 to 500 HP Accord out of this one.
So, I will have a lot of questions for the experts in this wonderful community.

See you around and thank you all in advance for the help you can provide this Honda newb.

welcome to the forum. you should have kept that 90 accord to fix up also. many honda people like that car to fix up. your 03 accord will be a good fixer also. the v-6 3.0 does come stock with a 160-240 hp engine unless it was modified with a turbo charger. it would be good if you can take that engine apart to evaluate it condition and beef it up to the hp rating you would like to get. easy but hp=$$$ not everything is cheap like long ago.
